We have the honor to invite you at Russian Pancake Feast "Maslenitsa" celebrations, which are to take place at Federation Square, Melbourne, Australia on Sunday, 5 February 2006 from 12pm to 4pm. The program will include Russian and Australian folklore and pop groups shows and competitions, stagy performances and frolic games for children and adults in the open air.

During celebrations you will be able to purchase different pancakes with various fillings, participate in traditional Russian matreshkas and wooden spoons colouring workshops, photographs in Russian folk dresses and much more.

The bewitching burning of Maslenitsa scarecrow will crown "Maslenitsa" celebration.

We are expecting arrival of famous boxer Kostya Tszyu, Russian ambassador in Australia, Council of Russian Federation, mayor of Melbourne and other honourable guests of Russian Pancake Feast "Maslenitsa".

Admission to Russian Pancake Feast "Maslenitsa" is free. Everybody is welcome!
